PPPR "Get Well" Blog Hop

Welcome to the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' "Get Well" blog hop.  You should have arrived at my blog from the lovely Barb's blog.    If you missed the beginning of the blog hop, you will want to head over here.   The blog hop features projects that the design team made keeping with the theme, Get Well, and of course, using Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' files.  I decided to make a card since I actually needed one to send to a dear member of my water aerobics class who is recovering from back surgery.  I used the bandaid with a heart file from the "Get Well" cutting files.  I cut it out 3x using a different color scheme for each one.  I added some stickles to my heart, some doodling around the edge and a sentiment, then off in the mail this baby went.  I didn't add a lot of dimension to my card since I knew I was going to be mailing this one.

Of course, what would a blog hop be without some blog candy?????
Lisa is offering this blog candy to one lucky winner :-)

For a chance to win, you must be a follower of each blog and leave a comment on each blog. For extra chances, you can also "LIKE" Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons on Facebook and/or sign up for the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Newsletter.  A random winner will be chosen for the prize on Tuesday, June 25. Graduation Layout - PPPR Design Team

Today I have a graduation layout to share with you for my Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' design team project.  I made this layout specifically for my oldest daughter who graduated from high school this year.  I used the "Hats Off" cutting files set to create my title and the 2 diplomas.  I also used the "Borders 2" cutting files set for the yellow scalloped border behind my patterned paper.

The graduation hat patterned paper is from Joanns and the black/white polka dot is from Doodlebug.  Thanks for stopping by today and don't forget to see "what's new" from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' and the rest of the design team's creations by heading over to the PPPR Blog HERE.

A Little Birdie Told Me. . . 3 Girl JAM DT

Happy Monday!!  I hope you had a great weekend and were able to hop along with the 3 Girl JAM design team's "Birthday Blog Hop".  Today I am sharing another birthday card I made - time to build up that stash!!  I used a file from the silhouette online store for my card base.  I used Latte crinkle ribbon from the 3 Girl JAM Coffee Bundle and the 3GJ bow maker to tie a doulbe bow for my card.  I added a 3 Girl Jam Vintage Button and threaded it with some twine I had in my stash and glued it to the top of my bow.

My sentiments are from the Cardz TV stamps' sets "Good Times" and "For the Birds".  I used my Martha Stewart branch punch and added some Prima and Recollections flowers to my card.  Thanks for stopping by today!!

3GJ Birthday Blog Hop

Welcome to the 3 Girl JAM Birthday Blog Hop. You should have arrived at my blog from the lovely Rebecca.  If you didn't start at the beginning of the hop then you will want to head on over to the 3 Girl JAM blog so that you don't miss a single stop along the way.  There will be prizes and lots of creative inspiration for you.   The inspiration for this blog hop is Julie's sister's birthday and all of the design team will be sharing a birthday related project.  I decided to make a card because it seems like I never have enough birthday cards on hand.  My inspiration for my card is my niece's birthday which is the day after July 4th.  I used a patriotic theme for my card and incorporated the new Red-White-Blue varigated crinkle ribbon from 3 Girl JAM's new "Red, White and Blue bundle".

Julie is running a special 20 % off sale at 3 Girl JAM this weekend - just use the coupon code BIRTHDAY.

Your next stop on the hop is the lovely Mackenzie - the letter "M" in JAM ;-)  Here is the full lineup of the hop in case you get lost along the way.

Cardz TV "Love in a Jar" Challenge

Welcome back to another Cardz TV Stamps challenge.  This time our challenge was - “Love in a Jar” Make a card, layout or craft project using CTV “Love in a Jar” stamp set.  I love this new set of Mary's and see so many fun possibilities with it.  I decided to incorporate a new paper pad I bought from Doodlebug to create my card for the challenge.

I stamped the larger canning jar on the red and white polka dotted paper to make it look like there was jam inside of my jar.  I used a tan Bic Mark It pen to color in the lid of my jar.  I also used the label stamp and inserted my sentiment inside of that.  The cherry paper and the red and white polka dotted paper is from Doodlebug's "Fruit Stand Collection".  My flower is from Recollections.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Don't forget to stop by the Cardz TV blog to see the rest of the design team's projects and to enter your project in the challenge.  To join this challenge all you will need to do is Make a card, layout or craft project using something you'd put in a jar.   Mary will be giving away one of her stamp sets to the lucky winner.

PPPR Deisgn Team Day

Happy Wednesday my fellow crafty friends!!  I have another project so share with you using some of the fun cutting files from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons.  I need to increase my birthday card stash so I started with this one!  First off I used the "Center Panel Step Card "cutting files for my card base.  Then I used one of the flower and stem files to create my flower and I added 2 branches - all of these are from the "Flower Assortment" cutting files set.  I just love this flower set from Lisa and cannot wait to play with it some more - there are so many possibilities and it comes with a variety of flowers, stems and branches to work with.

It is design team day for Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons, so make sure to check out the rest of the team's projects by heading over to the PPPR BLOG.  You will get to see lots of creative inspiration as I work with some very talented ladies!  Thanks for stopping by today and don't forget that we want to see what you create with the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' digital papers, graphics and cutting files.  Post your projects at the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' Facebook page HERE.

3d Watering Can with 3GJ ribbon

Happy Monday!!  I am here with another project using some wonderful ribbon from 3 Girl JAM.  I have wanted to make this 3d watering can from the silhouette online store for awhile now.  I added some "Baby Girl"  pink 3GJ ribbon on both sides of the can.  I used my 3GJ bow maker to tie a double bow for this project.  I just love the bow maker - makes tying ribbons so quick and easy!

My patterned paper is from last year's DCWV "Spring Fling" stack.  Thanks for stopping by today!!
